The point of view

It is clear that the point of view is usually multiple.

It varies from person to person according to character, education, training, gender, country of origin and more.

What can please or amuse (a picture, a joke, some music…a film) a group, homogeneous in terms of cultural affinity or other things, could have the opposite effect in a different group.

Because of affinity, political parties, weddings, artistic movements, friendships, business … and also a festival can be set up.

For a lack of affinity everything can get broken.

Sometimes also because of a lack of affinity with oneself.

How do I see other people? How do they see me?

It is not that easy to answer these questions.

Maybe, just maybe, we should ask ourselves “How do I see myself?”.

Many painters use and abuse of self-portait.

It is a matter of identity.

It is a matter of sensitivity.

It is a matter communication.

It is a matter of feelings. Everybody would like to be loved and appreciated for what they are.

To be lightly wronged can create a huge pain. It depends on who wrongs and who is wronged.

A little kindness can generate a great happiness. It depends on who makes it and who receives it.

Triviality? Triviality. Life and relationships are also affected by these trivialities.

The objective that is in front of a camera or a video camera is so called because it is … “objective,” it leaves “objectively” go through its lens the image we framed and that the film, the tape, hard disk or a memory card obediently record. The director, however, can intervene on the image, making the actors move or changing the objective. The cameraman can intervene by putting in front of the lens a filter that changes the colour of the image, the set designer can create the background and also the editor can intervene changing the length of the scenes while editing, move the framing from one point of the film to another… or not use it at all.

We all believe we are objective, but we almost never are.

We use to be cameramen, editors, set designers, production managers or we believe we are directors of our life because we would like it to be a great movie with a nice story and possibly with a happy ending.
