The AsoloArtFilmFestival is one of the the oldest and most prestigious film review festivals in the world. The support and collaboration from the Veneto Region with this event, which combines cinema exhibitions, theatre performances, musical events, and meetings with actors, once again highlights the interest of the institution for its culture and organization.

I have always believed that cinema, music, theatre and dance should not be construed as a gift for a lucky few but as a way consistent with the educational principles underlying the interventions for the general public and young people in particular. The AsoloFilmFestival’s precise objective is to open to a wider audience these film productions normally considered niche. The commitment of the Veneto Region for the next term has just started with particular attention being paid to the question of culture expressed in our territory and, secondly, to develop more up to date rules which can give a concrete structure with which to help in the promotion of long standing cultural values.
